Your well-developed paragraph should include:

Due dates

Sep. 10 Bring two copies of your paragraph, typed and double-spaced, on separate sheets of paper. You will leave one copy with me, while another will be reviewed by a peer during class. Your peer will give you a written review and discuss the critique with you.
Sep. 17 Bring your revised copy to class along with your peer review and a short response.

The assignment is worth a total of 50 points. Writing a complete and neat first draft for Sep. 10 is worth 10 points; your peer review of another student's paragraph will be graded out of 10 points; your short response to the peer review is worth 10 points; and the final copy of your paragraph on Sep. 17 will be graded out of 20 points.

Mediocre Example

My philosophy class is a good example of the statement of purpose at Hendrix. It does lots of things these classes are supposed to; introducing new areas, critical thinking, reading and writing. It's a good thing to be exposed to new experiences and philosophy has done that for me. Student's mind will be opened if they add this class to there schedule. I think that the colleges statement of porpose plays an important role in my liberal arts education.
